

Troy was in four different school districts in the state of Texas before he retired due to of illness. During his time as a Superintendent, he was very loved by all of his students. He would visit every classroom and would invite everyone in his district to stop by his office to talk or express any concern they may have. He was a member of numerous educational organizations
He was served in the United States Army and Navy since a young age. He was also a 50 year member of the protective benevolent order of the Elks in Denison, Texas .
After his retirement, he began to travel in an RV alongside his wife of 60 years. He loved traveling with his wife, from coast to coast and border to border making friends along the way.
He was a fun, loving person and enjoyed to sit around a campfire and share stories about his adventures.
He survived by his wife, Sandra Ryan Bratcher, his daughter, Shannon Bratcher, and adoptive daughter Tracy Knightstep Fleming. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, cousins, and loving family members.
He is preceded in death by his father Walden Bratcher, mother Devah Bratcher; Devah Laneve, Sutherland, Alexander Bratcher, and his siblings Murrell, Bratcher, Tommy, Lee Bratcher, and Ada Brtcher.
After his memorial services, his ashes will be interred in Rush Springs, Oklahoma.
