As a young man, he served in the Virginia National Guard for six years.
Bill’s vocation was as a salesman to stores and restaurants, selling cookies (Sunshine Biscuits, Keebler), cakes (Little Debbie), and candy (Miss Annies), for over 60 years.
However, his prime calling was as an ordained Baptist minister for 55 years, pastoring 15 Baptist churches in Virginia, New Mexico, and Texas.
Bill loved people, and loved to talk about the Lord Jesus Christ to anyone who would listen.
