Her strong Christian faith led her to study at Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma, where she earned her degree in psychology while raising her two young sons. The family then moved to Elizabethtown where she worked as a counselor at Lifeskills, Inc.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lera and Albert Stein.
She is survived by two sons, Russell (Beth) Emrick of Charleston, WV, and Adam (Amy) Emrick of La Grange; her brothers Bernie Hochman of Cocoa, FL, and David Hochman of Baltimore, MD; and two grandsons, Will and Asher Emrick.
The funeral and burial are at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, at Valley Rest Cemetery in LaGrange.
