She was a member of Highview Baptist Church and retired from General Electric.
Survivors include her husband; Gayle Lawson: children; Lisa Simpson (Ed) and Charlie Lawson (Carolyn): sister; Judy Whittaker (Doug): special nieces: Kim Jones, Janet Grantz, Beth Pinotti and Karen Eldridge; and 5 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday from 4-8 PM.
