Bruce M Horton

Bruce worked as a roofer at Highland Roofing for 30 years, where he eventually retired. He was known for his love of life — he enjoyed dancing and partying with friends and family. He also loved working on cars in his spare time. In his younger days, he had a passion for lifting weights. While in the hospital he bragged about having 19 inch pythons to the nurses. He loved the ladies!!!!

He was preceded in death by nine siblings. Doris, William, Charles Jr., James, Calvin, Lloyd, Jimmy, Jessie, and Sissy.

Left to cherish the memory of Bruce are his children, Tosha George (Chucky) and Ray Williams (Tonya); a host of grandchildren, siblings; Joyce Louden (John) and Margie Langham (Wayne), his niece and caregiver Joy Cain (Cricket); his nephews, Robert Chatman and Kevin Reynolds; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Gathering for Bruce will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, Lagrange, KY 40031, followed by a celebration of life at 3:00 PM. Bruce’s final resting place will be at the Valley of Rest with his sister Jessie Chesser.
