You were always so quick to offer your help anytime I needed something done. This farm can be a lonely place at night but all I have to do is think of you and how close you are to me, both in spirit and in location, to make those feelings go away.

charlie,you will never be gone as long  as i see a lawnmower tractor,you always called it your truck, and all the times you came down to our house. Pete murray will be gone 7 yrs. in june of this year, but to me he is always here with me. I was married to this family 56 yrs. ago but it was and still is my family,rest well and look Pete and the rest of your famile up.love to you .mary ann murray.

Remembering Charliefirst as a neighbor housed in a cute trailer down by the cattle guard.  Always a friendly wave while tending to his yard and garden. A skilled craftsman who helped with projects including the little fenced garden, a feed box for baby goats and a laying box for chickens.  Always active, Charlie showed me how to properly attached a chain to a tractor last summer and how to stay out of the way of falling trees!  As Charlie became less active, his buddy, Jerry, stepped up to care for him.  When Charlie moved to rehab, Jerry would often take Charlie out and they would ride the farm Charlie so much loved.  Yes, Charlie, you are missed.

You will be missed by all who knew you. May you rest in peace uncle Charlie.

I remember Charlie when he first came to the farm, a fairly robust youngish man and very friendly. Then over the years Charlie and Jerry were the inseperable pair, where one was the other was, unless Charlie lit out on his mower or tractor across the fields. He always had a sense of humor and watching him and Jerry work together was like a comedy scene. They were the best of friends. Charlie was always a gentleman and we will miss him.

Charlie I loved the talks we would have around the fire,you always put a small on my face. Every-time I hear a riding lawnmower I'll think of you. You are now a free.
