He was a farmer for Bradford Landing Farm.
Survivors include his sisters: Dorothy Meredith (Pete), Mary Bates (Bob) and Mildred Teague (Donnie); brothers: William Lawrence Eddins (Patsy), Charles Eddins, Richard Virgil Eddins Jr. (Marie) and Donald Eddins (Rachel).
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home. Visitation from after 1 until service time.
