Diane Gail Everett

Diane Gail Everett of Crestwood passed away Saturday April 11, 2026 after an unexpected illness. She was born December 19, 1949 in Harlan County Kentucky to Herbert McGlothin and MaDella Witt McGlothin. She attended Loyall High School for many years but graduated from Harlan County High School. She moved to Oldham County in 1968 when she married and later lived in Henry and Jefferson County.

Diane spent many years working but in the 1980’s she decided to go to beauty school which had always been her passion. She attended Roy’s Beauty School and eventually worked for various salons including Roy’s, Sedat’s and Snips before remarrying and moving to Jensen Beach, Florida. She loved her work and eventually owned her own salon Shear Highlights in Florida. She moved back to Kentucky in 2018.

Diane made many friends over the years and loved spending time with them. One of her favorite things to do was go back to Harlan for reunions. So many classes celebrate together and she loved getting to see old friends. She also loved vacationing, attending concerts and gathering with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Joey Pendergest, her husband Donald Everett and four brothers, Bobby, Johnny, Danny and Clay McGlothin.

She is survived by her daughter Deanna Whitworth, granddaughter Savannah (Jarrod) Moorman, great granddaughters Ryleigh and Eden Moorman, brothers Lynn McGlothin (Janet), Jerry McGlothin (Tammy), and sisters in law Evelyn McGlothin and Kaye Ross. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, Kentucky, on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from Noon until Diane's celebration of life starts at 3:00 pm.
