He was born to the late Clarence and Catherine (Lathrop) Bays in Crystal Valley, Michigan on January 26, 1934.
Don worked for 34 years in manufacturing and was a longtime member of the Eagles.
He is preceded in death by his son; Cecil Bays,
Left to cherish the memory of Don are his wife Alice Bays, children; Sherry Sepanek, David Bays (Barbara), Betty Olsen (Chris), Gary Bays (Brenda), Kevin Bays (Heather) and Janette Bays, 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
No services are scheduled; following Don's final wishes.
