Donna Lee Brown

Donna was born September 13th, 1943 in Somerset, KY to Leeland and Garnet Flynn. She graduated from Pulaski County High School, later moving to Louisville to attend coursework at Sullivan University. She worked for Doctors O'lash and Funke before taking time off to raise 3 sons. She later returned to work for the Oldham County Clerk's Office, proudly serving in Voter Registration.

Donna was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, involved in NYBU, Methodist Women and serving in many other church boards and servant roles. Donna loved loving others, whether it was focusing on her family, serving at her church, giving rides to those in need, or simply being a servant leader.

Donna was known to be extremely selfless, which was engrained at a very young age. Raised on a farm, her strong foundation in family, work ethic, humility and service not only benefited her, but she passed on these same values to her sons, who witnessed these same values and ethic on their small farm in Crestwood, raising cattle, tobacco and other farm work.

Donna is survived by her husband, Charlie, three sons; Stefan, Lorne (Jen) and Kirk (Paige). Her prized grandchildren include Shelby (Ben Browning), Taylor (Blake Cordell), Kendall, Cayden, Hallie, Bryanna, Leeland and Claude. Donna is also survived by her three sisters; Charlotte (Ron Addington), Carolyn (dec. Max Hughes) and Bernice Gholson.

Visitation will be January 2nd from 4-8pm and January 3rd from 1-2pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY 40031. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 2pm with burial to follow at Mt. Tabor in Crestwood, KY.
