Douglas Ernest Trent III

A beloved son, brother, and grandson, Douglas ‘Dougie’ Trent III, passed away after an early morning accident in Louisville, Kentucky. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Kathlyn Deveau, his father and step-mother, Douglas and Sherri Trent; his younger sisters, Lauren Lavea and Kristen Trent, his step-sisters, Shayna Ulery and Jayme Burch, his nephews Loa and Lio Lavea, and his grandparents Dr. Douglas and Ann Trent.

Doug’s most cherished achievements included: being an instructor black belt in Taekwondo, being a 2010 graduate of Eastern High School, being a volunteer firefighter for Fern Creek Fire Department, completing his EMT certification and working for Louisville Metro EMS, and many other jobs.

Doug loved family gatherings, dog parks and being out in nature with his dog JD. He was always ready to work, talk, and quick with a joke.

A Memorial Gathering for Douglas will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, Lagrange, KY 40031.
