Glen Lee Beard

Glen Lee Beard (Hack) was born on May 23, 1956, to the late James Beard and Evelyn Beard; and he transitioned Wednesday, December 25, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Beard and wife, Connie Hunt Beard.

Glen accepted Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church of LaGrange. He attended Oldham County High

School where he had a love for sports, specifically track and basketball. He was also a well-known fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats.

Glen was employed for many years, along with his father, James Beard, at Clayton Lambert, Incorporation, Buckner, Kentucky.

Glen leaves to celebrate his life: his mother, Evelyn Arnold Beard: two daughters, Taketa and Tamica Beard: three sisters, Rebecca & Faye Beard, Charlene Beard Goldsmith (Walter Goldsmith “Buddy”): 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 5 step children, 8 step grandchildren, a special friend, Deanette Burke Beard: 4 Aunts, Betty Elzy, Mary Lawson, Hattie Ford & Brenda Parker: 3 Uncles, Charles, Ronnie & Ricky Arnold, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Glen was a loving and caring person and will be truly missed.

A visitation for Glen will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, Kentucky. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 12:00 PM, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, Kentucky. A graveside service will occur Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Valley of Rest, 1411 E Crystal Dr, LaGrange, Kentucky.
