Lisa Ann Brizendine

Lisa was the daughter of Betty Ann Davenport and the late Gary Kenton Brizendine. She was born on April 5, 1965 and attended Ballard High School and the U of L school of Nursing, where she graduated with honors. Lisa worked at the Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville where she was cherished by her patients and coworkers. Lisa generously shared her love of music and care giving with all who knew her and will be remembered for her selfless nurturing.

She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Brizendine and Claire Culwell of Clarksville, IN; her fiancé, Tom Hurtgen of Clarksville, IN; her mother, Betty Ann Davenport (Allan Crain) of Danville, KY; one brother, Mark Brizendine (Christina) of Westfield, NJ, and a niece and nephew, Tessa Brizendine of Westfield, NJ and Ben Brizendine of Louisville, KY. Lisa was preceded in death by her father and four grandparents, Henry & Doris Coakley and Alton & Addie Brizendine.

A visitation will be held from 10–12 at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home in LaGrange, KY on Thursday, July 9 with a funeral service immediately following at noon. Burial will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Green County, KY.
