

He was a proud US Army Veteran and worked for Kroger for 37 years.
He was predeceased by his father; Robert Nutter and brother; Glenn Nutter.
Left to cherish the memory of Curt are his wife; Susan Nutter, son; Travis Nutter, step-children; Amy Ross and Grant Ross, mother; Letha Nutter, siblings; Barbara Rich (Bob), Phillip Nutter (Linda), and Keith Nutter, many nieces and nephews, and long-time friend Steve Cummins (Becky).
Curt was a loving father to his son Travis who he said was “God’s greatest gift to me.” Curt married his first love on January 1, 2011 after reuniting after 25 years. They have spent 3.5 wonderful years together living in Maine after he retired from Kroger. Curt and Susan returned to Kentucky in 2013 to his beloved city. He was a father figure to both Amy and Grant. Curt was a lifelong Packer and Red Sox fan. Above all he was a Louisville Cardinals fan and enjoyed going to football and basketball games. He will be missed by his family and a multitude of friends.
A service to honor the life of Mr. Nutter will be held Thursday, October 23 at 10am at Watkins Methodist Church, 9800 Westport Rd in Louisville, with private burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home Wednesday, October 22 from 4-8pm.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Cardinal Athletic Fund for Scholarship Purposes.
