Maggie was born to Anthony Walter and Gloria Jackson on May 11, 1947, in Louisville, KY. She graduated from Mercy Academy in 1965. She worked as a daycare teacher at various churches. Maggie was married to her best friend on July 24.1965.
Maggie always knew she wanted to be a wife and a mother. So when she was set up on a blind date, she fell in love with her husband of 53 years Francis Eugene Grace. From their love, they created their own family. They welcomed their first child Joseph in 1968. They added to their family Chris in 1975. They continued growing their family, welcoming their third child Andrew in 1987. To complete their family, they welcomed their first daughter, Angela, in 1990.
Maggie took great pride in being a wife and mother. She was always cleaning, cooking, relaxing outside, smoking a cigarette, or watching her favorite soap opera General Hospital. Maggie loved traveling and going on adventures with her family. She took many trips to Florida, which was her favorite destination. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She would always find a reason to bring the family together. Maggie was also called "Memaw" by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Memaw always stocked up in the fridge with popsicles. She always had her cookie jars full of cookies. Maggie never met a stranger. She was the lady in the middle of the grocery aisle who would have a conversation, being that person you try to walk around. You knew she was around when you heard laughter. She was always telling funny stories and singing silly tunes. Maggie was an amazing mother and loved like there was no tomorrow. She was always understanding and supportive. She was very compassionate and encouraging.
Ever since Maggie was a young girl, she was ready to meet God. She would constantly let you know. Maggie would go to church on Saturday evenings cause she was not a morning person. I believed her when she said the Lord was with her cause she would speed to church and never get a ticket. But she never gave up faith in God.
Maggie will be greatly missed. She left her mark on the world,l and lived every moment to the fullest.
