Preslee Michael Francis

Preslee was young at heart, he carried with him an old soul. He was sweet and gentle – polite, soft-spoken, compassionate, and always willing to help those in need. He never met a stranger he didn’t lend a listening ear to, no matter their age.

He passionately indulged in the gaming worlds of World of Warcraft and League of Legends, along with Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon, and Star Wars Battlefront II. Preslee spent many summers with his family and friends at the lake – boating, jet skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, kayaking, and fishing. He enjoyed golfing and cruising on his motorcycle (Royal Enfield Interceptor 650). Preslee was enthusiastic about gardening, growing various types of lettuce and herbs. He had a newfound enjoyment for Krav Maga (Israeli Martial Arts). Preslee frequently enjoyed taking the scenic route, taking his time, and finding life’s little treasures along the way… This is what earned him his playful nickname of “Christmas.” He loved to travel, rather it be solo or with a companion. He was looking forward to his next quests: along Route 66 with his Dad and a trip to Disney World with Hunter, Drake, and Yuki.

Preslee spent his last 7 years as a dedicated employee of VIP-Supply Chain Solutions, his most recent position as an Assistant Project Manager. He proudly earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Business Administration (University of Louisville), Associates Degree in Arts (JCTC), Associates Degree in Science (JCTC), and Certification in Project Management.

Preslee’s unconditional love for his family and friends was everlasting.

His family was his entire world – Daddio, Ma, and JKLMNOP. Their love for him is eternal.

He is preceded in death by his Grandparents: George H. Pendleton, Thomas M. Francis Sr. (Tonya), and Wanda R. Hayden — and Uncle: Tommy M. Francis Jr. Left to cherish the memory of Preslee are his parents: Michael and Angela Francis, Sister: Jorri Kay Francis (Austin). Grandmother: Mamaw Sandy, Step-Grandfather: Papaw Rick. Although cousins by blood, brothers by heart: Hunter, Austen, and Matthew.

Aunts and Uncles: George Pendleton (Teri), Brandie Pendleton (Shannon), Amanda Carpenter (Dan), Amber Cardwell (John), Michael Carpenter. Cheri Lyons, Rick Lyons, Richard Francis, Anna Russell Francis (Shawn). Cousins: Austen (Chelsea), Hunter, Ricky (Kate), Matthew (Jessica), Angel (Kaylin). Josh, Ricky (Jenny), Cory, Meghan (Todd), Casey, Cole, and Emmie – along with their children and extended families.
