Dr. Roger Lewis Ewing

Dr. Roger Lewis Ewing (78) passed peacefully into everlasting life on Friday morning, 6/3/2022. He was a loving father, husband, and cared for many through the dental profession. His memory and spirit continues in the hearts he enriched. He is survived by his wife (Robby) of 51 years, two sons, and six grandchildren. Roger was a small town boy from Falmouth, KY, son of Harold and Nelva Ewing. He received his Bachelor’s and DMD from University of Kentucky, completing his residency in Virginia where he met Robby. After returning to Kentucky, Roger raised his family and practiced oral surgery for 31 years. He cared for patients with unparalleled compassion, and served the dental community as clinical instructor at the University of Louisville and in various leadership roles in local dental associations. His final years were spent on his family farm, doing the things he loved with the people who loved him. He was humble in heart, a kind and gentle humanitarian, and will be missed by many.
