Roseanne Smith Harrod

Roseanne Smith Harrod of LaGrange, Kentucky died peacefully on May 25, 2023. She was born April 18, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Daniel Clay Smith III and Rosella Gertrude Hardy Smith.

Roseanne was a graduate of Assumption High School and attended the University of Kentucky. On January 15, 1966 she married her husband of 57 years, Irvin Fred Harrod II. They are the parents of three children: sons, Fred Harrod III (Freddy), Mark Harrod and daughter Katie Harrod Addington. They lived and raised their children in Goshen, Kentucky.

Nothing made Roseanne happier than being a housewife and stay at home mother to her husband and children; later in life, she loved being a grandmother. Roseanne enjoyed being an artist in oil painting, reading historical books, gardening, visiting the beach, and spending time with her family and pets.

Roseanne was preceded in death by her parents and her son Fred Harrod III (Freddy).

Survivors include her husband Fred Harrod, son Mark Harrod (Kathy), daughter Katie Addington (Tim), and three beautiful granddaughters, Katherine Harrod, Alexandria Addington, and Olivia Addington.
