He was born to the late Jay and Mildred Morgan in Louisville, Kentucky on October 4, 1949.
Steve was a Mechanical Engineer/Estimator and retired from Material Handling Systems (MHS) in December of 2018. He was famous for his Friday night get togethers with family and friends at his house. Steven was also a great cook and fan of Seinfeld.
He is preceded in death by his son; Cary Michael Morgan.
Left to cherish the memory of Steve are his wife of 39 years; Joan Veech Morgan, son; William Steven Morgan (September), one grandchild on the way, siblings; Bonnie Morgan Dugan, Mike Morgan (Vivian), Kyle Baird (Phil Bill) and Denise Cain (Terry), many nieces and nephews, best friends for over 40 years; Gary and Gloria Martin, extended family and friends.
A celebration of Steve's life will be held at Louisville Memorial Gardens East on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11am with visitation from 10am until the start of the service. Visitation will be at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home in LaGrange, Kentucky on Wednesday evening from 4-8pm.
Memorial donations can be made in Steve's name to BLOC Ministries (EPOH/the Cary Morgan House).
