Theodore William Swann Sr.

Theodore (Ted) William Swann Sr, age 82, passed away peacefully in Green Bay, Wisconsin on February 5th, 2025 with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Washington D.C. on March 27th, 1942, to parents Edward William Swann and Mary Viola Swann.

He served in the US Army in his youth. He enjoyed a good game of cards, the outdoors, traveling with his wife, telling bad jokes and singing off key. He liked to spend his time wondering antique stores and watching birds on his front porch.

Ted is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Tiffany (Trevor) Gaura, grandchildren Levi, Mackenzie, Vivian and Micah, sisters Peggy Marie Swann, Sheryl Margaret Davis and Doris Ann Swann and brother James Larry Swann.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Brittany Leigh Swann, mother Mary Viola Swann, father Edward William Swann and siblings Joseph Swann, Paul Robert Swann, Mary Beatrice Thompson, and Linda Marie Proctor.

Family and friends may call at LaGrange Baptist Church 1139 Commerce Pkwy, LaGrange KY from 12pm to 2pm on February 18th 2025. A service to follow will begin at 2pm with Rick Davidson presiding. A private burial will follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery in LaGrange, KY.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Edenbrook and the hospice staff of Aurora Health At Home Hospice for making his final months more comfortable.
