She was born on June 27, 1934 to the late Albert and Lillian (Ball) Black in Campbellsburg, Kentucky.
Jean was a member at LaGrange Baptist Church and retired as a Clerk for Oldham County.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years; Lewis Farrell "Dugan" Wallace, brothers; Eslie Black and Harold Black and sister-in-law; Mary Jo Black.
Left to cherish the memory of Jean are her daughter; Barbara Harrod (Horace Jr.), grandsons; Justin (Shawna) and Jordan (Tara), great-grandchildren; Ethan, Molly, Hannah, Cooper and Charli.
A private service will be held for Jean's family with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
Memorial donations can be made in Jean's name to Parkinson's Foundation or the American Heart Association.
