Alex Coyle was born on January 30th, 1958 to Robert and Liane Coyle. Alex graduated from John Marshall High School in San Antonio, Texas. He then attended and graduated from The University of Texas Austin with a degree in Radio/TV/Film, and then later a degree in education from Southwest Texas State University in preparatory for his life career at WestLake High School where he became a history teacher, football, soccer, and tennis coach until he retired in 2014. He is survived by his wife Margie Coyle of thirty-three years, his daughter Rachel Coyle, his sister Cheryl Price and her husband Gary, brother Kelly Coyle and his wife Simone, parents Robert Coyle and his wife Liane Coyle, along with numerous nephews and nieces.

Let his genuine love of life and tremendously kind spirit inspire us all to live life to its fullest. Alex will be remembered always as a gentle soul and amazing man, husband, father, son, brother, and treasured friend.

A celebration of his life is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the Capitol City Comedy Club, 8120 Research Blvd. Austin, Texa 78758.
