Charles was born March 27, 1962. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Cynthia; father, Fredrick Mohle; siblings, Marie (Ted) Diemer, Fred (Merry) Mohle and Michael Mohle; along with his cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margarita Mohle and his brother, Herman Mohle.
Charles served in the Navy (1981-1985) and in his first posting to Rota, Spain, he learned to ride bulls. He became a commercial truck driver and at the beginning of this career he and his father had the opportunity to be team drivers. His passion hobby was fishing, especially salt-water with his special buddies, Dan, Shannon & Antwone. He delighted in taking his boat out on lakes and the coast - of course to fish. He was a certified scuba diver and encouraged his wife to become certified.
Charles enjoyed trying his luck at the casinos with keno & slots. He was an avid supporter of Austin’s We Are Blood and rarely missed a blood donation drive at Lakeway Activity Center. Charles and Cynthia enjoyed several of their bucket list trips, including Cozumel diving, Seattle & Mount Rainier, Smokey Mountains hiking and fly fishing, Chicago, Niagara Falls, Boston & October Fall foliage road trip in Eastern U.S. and a Western Caribbean Cruise.
Charles was known for his infectious smile and his own brand of humor. He was always willing to come to the aid of family, friends and neighbors. Charles loved to exhibit his barbecuing skills, especially overnight smoking of his briskets.
We will miss him dearly, especially his smile. In lieu of flowers, please donate in his name to the American Cancer Society. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
