Curt was born on September 14, 1963, in Tahoka, Texas, where he was raised and formed lifelong friendships and values that he carried throughout his life. He later attended Texas A&M University, graduating in 1986 with a Master of Science.
Curt built a long and meaningful career in the global food sales and distribution industry. He spent 15 years with Sugar Creek, where he proudly served as President and Chief Operating Officer, forming lasting relationships and friendships along the way. In recent years, he continued sharing his leadership and experience at Agri-West International, Inc., also serving as President and COO. More than his titles, Curt was known for the way he treated people — with sincerity, humor, and genuine care. Whether with clients, coworkers, or friends, he truly never met a stranger.
Curt was a gleaming light of excitement and energy, known for his unforgettable laugh and ever-present smile. Anyone who came into contact with his joyful charisma left with a lasting impression. His undeniable wit was always one step ahead, and time spent with Curt was always an adventure.
He loved people deeply, and his greatest joy in life was simply bringing a smile to someone’s face — something he did effortlessly and naturally. Curt especially enjoyed time on the golf course and could often be found cheering on Texas A&M, two things that brought him great happiness alongside time with family and friends.
His humor and spirit will be profoundly missed, and those who loved him will carry forward the many wonderful memories shared with their beloved “CTerry,” striving to pass along even a fraction of the joy he gave so freely to others.
Curt was preceded in death by his father, Walton Brandon Terry; step-father, Haynes Howle and niece, Kayla Sanders.
