Douglas Paul Noack, Sr., 74, lovingly known as ‘Papaw Spoiled Brat’, entered his eternal resting place surrounded by family on February 4, 2024 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Lakeway, Texas. Doug's departure leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and unwavering strength that will be cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Doug worked in the construction industry for 45 years and was well-known for his quality work. In his younger years, he enjoyed tinkering on vehicles, street racing, hunting, and fishing. When he retired, his main passions were spending time with his family, working on his land, planting oats for the wildlife, and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Margaret Noack. He is survived by his best friend and the love of his life, Beverly Gill; his daughter, Tammy Hester and son-in-law Jay, who he always called Jaybird; his son Douglas Noack, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Alicia; his son, Kevin Noack; his grandchildren, Brittany and her husband Chris, Joshua, and Skyler; his great-grandchildren, Christian and Ella; his brother Randy Noack and sister Janis Noack Frazier; and a host of other family members.
Heartfelt appreciation to the ICU staff at Baylor Scott and White in Lakeway for their loving care and support.
Our family has decided to have a celebration of life at a future date and will notify loved ones when the celebration is scheduled.
