Eddy Beckelhymer passed away peacefully on April 26th, 2023 surrounded by family and friends at Longhorn Village, Austin Texas. She was born in Crawford, Texas on November 29th, to Halbert Theon Hall and Edna Faris Hall. She was predeceased by her daughter Nancy, her parents, her sister Vela, and husband Roy.
Eddy grew up in Crawford Texas and attended North Texas State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts and a Teaching Certificate. While working in Lovington New Mexico, she met her future husband, Roy Beckelhymer. They were married in 1954 and had 58 years of fun, sadness and adventures. They spent time in London and Libya with their three children, Nancy, Roy III and Britt. The family returned to Houston where they lived until 1992 when Eddy and Roy moved to Lakeway. In 2010, they moved to Longhorn Village in Austin.
Eddy is survived by her sons Roy (daughter-in-law Janiece) Britt and 5 grandchildren; Emily (son-in-law Kerim), Andrew, Eric, Erica, Alison and her great granddaughter Olivia.
