James Lee (JL) Weaver

James Lee Weaver (JL), 28, of Austin, TX passed away on August 3rd in a motorcycle accident. He was the beloved son of Lana Delashaw and Arvin Weaver and was born on September 23rd, 1985 in Austin, TX. After he graduated from Westwood High School, he went to work as an auto mechanic.

James enjoyed a host of hobbies and activities. He was a very active person and loved to travel many places where he was able to spend time with his family and friends and was able to share special moments by going snow boarding, surfing, hunting, white water rafting and fishing. He also was blessed by being able to experience other interests such as skate boarding, water skiing, camping, boating and shooting his bows and arrows that were hand crafted by his father.

Besides family and friends he loved his dogs Xena and Isis as well as riding his motorcycles and working on old cars.

He was a simple man and his family and friends meant more to him than earthly treasures. He made a lasting impact on all of them and will be truly missed by many and cherished by all.

He is survived by his parents Lana Delashaw and Arvin and Debra Lynn Weaver, grandparents James and Verbenia Delashaw and Ann Weaver, aunts April Phillips and Jeannine Bradford, cousins Kingston Phillips, Ann Bradford, Hubert Thomas Bradford, Kim Gerstner Romberg and Christopher Gerstner.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Weed-Corley-Fish Lake Travis, 411 Ranch Road 620 South in Lakeway.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 8, 2014 at Weed-Corley-Fish Lake Travis Chapel. Interment will follow at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Fazio, Daniel Oliphant, Sam Burk, Zac Leifeste, Brady Goodwin, Anthony Gallardo, Chris Rizzo, and Russell Hill. Honorary Pallbearers will be Laine Phillips and Captain Charles Nelson.
