

Mrs. Janis May Andrews, 71, of Austin, Texas, passed away in her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with lung cancer on July 1st, 2016. She was born to Rufus and Doris "Dandy" McKinney on November 25th, 1944.
Jan is survived by her loving husband John Boyette "Bunny" Andrews, three sons, Charles Jonathan Boykin of Casper, Wyoming, William Russell Boykin of Pflugerville, Texas, Richard Duane Boykin of Hutto, Texas, two stepsons, David John Andrews of Austin, Texas, Daniel Walter Andrews and wife Mel of Austin, Texas, and one stepdaughter, Jennifer Lee Andrews of Austin, Texas. She has 6 surviving grandchildren, Brittany Stanford and husband Brandon of Mobile, Alabama, Tiffany Boykin of Pensacola, Florida, twins Brian and Kevin Andrews of Austin, Texas and Spencer and Jackson Boykin of Pflugerville, Texas, and two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Reese Stanford of Mobile, Alabama. She is also survived by two sister-in-laws, BJ Andrews of Austin, Texas and Jean J. McKinney of Belton, Texas, niece Lisa Darnell and her son Chad of Austin, Texas, nephew, Jeff Lashbrook and wife Stacy and their kids Paige, Robyn and Hunter of Marble Falls, Texas, twin nieces, Dawn Gallahar of Katy and Donna Blagg of Belton and nephew Michael McKinney of Georgetown.
Jan is proceeded in death by her father Rufus McKinney, step-father William A. Newman, mother Doris "Dandy" McKinney, brother-in-law William "Rooster" Andrews, brother-in-law Richard L. Lashbrook, sister Jeffrie Lashbrook, brother Donald McKinney, niece Janine McKinney Singleton and infant grandson Joshua Alexander Boykin.
Jan and her husband Bunny are avid Longhorn fans and loved watching the football games. She also enjoyed vacationing at the cabin in Taos, New Mexico.
A memorial service to honor Jan's memory will be held on Tuesday, July 19th, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 North Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas, 78705.
