Mark C. Armstrong, 52, beloved husband and best friend of Ginger, dad of Jason, Sarah, and Lane Grace, papa of Aidan, son of Helen Joyce McFerrin and Freeland Armstrong and brother of Karen, Kyle and Mitch went home to be with Jesus Friday morning, June 10th. Jesus is his passion and he is with Him now. He has heard the words, he longed to hear, “Well done good and faithful servant.” Often described as intense, over-the-top, and fiercely loyal, he did everything with determined dedication. Once he had a mission, he was tireless. All his life, he was the “make it happen” guy. In recent years His passion for making it happen shifted from business and personal gain to making it happen for Christ.
His love and zeal for the Lord is the legacy he leaves us. Jesus is everything. Without Him there is nothing. That is what he wanted all to know. To believe in Him who first loved us. To cling to Him and to put Him above all else.
His family will miss him intensely. His surprises, funny stories, funny dance moves. His words of wisdom and counsel. His love that was deep and wide and without end. The way he loved and lived will last for the rest of this life in our hearts until we join him with Jesus.
"I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7
