Martha Josephine Foley

Martha, or "Pat," as she was known to her friends and family, stepped into eternal life on Saturday morning, March 29, 2025, at the age of 98 years young. Pat was born June 11, 1926 in Dublin, Ireland, where she grew up with her mother Mary O'Reilly, father Christopher O'Reilly, and her beloved brother John, all of whom have preceded her into eternal life.

School was always a joy for Pat, and she loved reading, a passion she continued throughout her lifetime. With an artistic gift, after graduation as a young woman, Pat worked with a fabric designer/upholsterer. It was a job she thoroughly enjoyed.

Her artistic nature drew her to music of all genres with a passion for the opera and musical theatre. Her love of art in its many forms of painting, sculpture, gardens, and architecture were always a delight to her. She could always see the beauty in all the things around her and exposed her children to as much of this beauty as she could. It was an effort that did not go to waste on her family!

Pat had five children with her beloved husband, Eamonn Foley, who stepped into eternal life in 2001. Two of her children, Kevin and Niall, have also preceded her to eternal life. She is survived by her children, Collette Armstrong, Aidan Foley, and Kieron Foley; her granddaughters, Deana Single and Alexa Foley; her three great-grandchildren who she also adored, Samuel E. Single, Sarah N. Single, and Simone N. Single.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 10 am at Emmaus Catholic Church, located at 1718 Lohmans Crossing Rd, Lakeway, Texas 78734.

There will be a luncheon/reception immediately following the Mass at The Hills Country Club, 26 Club Estates Parkway, Lakeway, Texas.
