William T. Cobb

April 15, 1954 –August 10, 2011

Bill passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on August 10th. He was born at the Nix Hospital on April 15, 1954. He grew up in Houston and San Antonio, graduating from MacArthur High School in 1972. Bill was known for his fun loving and witty way and his true love for the great outdoors.

Bill's passion was his love for his beautiful family, his son Bo and wife Nicole and their two beautiful children, his grandchildren, Hunter, age 3 and Harper, age 1.

Bill possessed a rare and unique quality in his ability to communicate and interact with children and animals, he loved them all and they all adored and learned from him.

Preceding him in death are his mother, Dot Cobb and brother, John. He is survived by his son Bo and wife Nicole; grandchildren, Hunter and Harper; father, William T. Cobb of Lakeway; sisters, Chris Cobb of Spicewood, TX and Kelly Eklund of San Antonio, TX; niece, Sunny Eklund; and nephew, Paul Stevenson and partner Maureen Kelly.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Northeast Baptist Hospital and Inspiris Hospice. Our special thanks to Dr. Marnie Ross for her exceptionally devoted and professional care of Bill.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 26, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3907 Harry Wurzbach San Antonio, Texas 78209.
