

Charles Watson Jr was born on December 25, 1947, in Dallas, Texas, and was called home on February 10, 2022, in Rosamond, California. He met and went on to marry his wife, Teressia on June 4, 1971, and together they had one child. Charles served as Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. He then went on to serve in the Vietnam War. Upon injury, Charles received an honorable discharge. He was awarded several medals for his services including the National Defense Service Medal. After his time in the marines, he went on to get his degree in Respiratory therapy. He then went on to work for Armed Forces Radio, television services for 32 years. In his free time, he loved to travel with his family. Charles is preceded in death by his parents Kathleen Watson & Charles Watson Sr, siblings; Paulette Watson, Willie Roy Watson, Billy Wayne Watson, and Patty Denise Watson. He is survived by his wife Teressia Watson, his only child, Charles Watson III, and wife Brandy Watson, grandchildren, Michael, Charles and Isiah, his great-grandchild Cody, siblings; Charlene Watson, Carol Yvonne Watson, and Kenneth Dwayne Watson. and 12 nieces and nephews. We would like to acknowledge that this is not goodbye as he will always be in our hearts and a part of everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.
