

Our beloved father Felix Aaron Jr. was born on November 2, 1932, to Felix Aaron Sr. and Grace L. Aaron in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He was the oldest child of four. His brother's Reuben Aaron Sr. (deceased) Jarriet James Aaron (deceased) and his sister Mary Ann Aaron Rodriguez. He attended St. Anthony Catholic School. At the age of 18 yrs old Felix enlisted into the United States Air Force. Where he traveled the world. He was on furlough and went home to Natchitoches and heard there was going to be a dance on Cane River, he went to the dance and saw a beautiful young woman that he didn't know. So, he asked his first cousin Peggy Aaron to introduce him to her, and it was love at first sight. He finished his term with the military. Felix went to Los Angeles, California and settled in where he finished high school at Manuel Arts high School, Mary Veronica soon followed and went to California. They were married December of 1956. They had two children a daughter Constance Maria Aaron and a son Felix Milton Aaron III.
Felix worked for the company Boeing for many years. Him and his brother Rueben decided to go into the dry-cleaning business together for a number of years. Felix later on worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier for many years up until his retirement. Felix throughout his life, was a devoted catholic. He was a Eucharistic Minister at St Eugene's Catholic Church where he joined the adult choir. Felix was of 1,200 persons, chosen from more than 4000 to sing during the visit of His Holiness Pope John Paul II. He sang at dodger Stadium and at the Coliseum September 15 - 16, 1987, and that is where his love for music began. Felix loved to sing, he taught himself how to play the piano and how to read and write music. Felix wrote several songs.
Felix enjoyed baseball games he was an avid Dodger fan, he also enjoyed watching old black and white westerns.
Felix was a family man. He cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren family and friends. We will miss him greatly.
Felix was preceded in death by his wife Mary Veronica Aaron, his parents Felix Aaron Sr. and Grace Aaron, his brother's Reuben Aaron Sr. and Jarriet Aaron. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Constance Aaron-Metoyer, son-in-law Charles Metoyer, son Felix Aaron III grandchildren Justin Metoyer and Andrea Aaron his sister Mary Ann Aaron Rodriguez and nieces Katrina Griswold, Gabrielle Rodriguez nephews Rueben Aaron Jr., Scott Aaron, cousins and friends.
