Was born on March 8, 1962 in San Jose, Costa Rica and Died August 12, 2017 in Sardinal Carrillo, Guanacaste Costa Rica. He grew up in Los Angeles, California. He was married and had 2 sons, Joshua and Moses. A few years after his marriage was over and for personal reasons he went back to Costa Rica where he spent the last 21 years. He worked as a tour guide in the Rain forest and as a waiter for many years. because he could speak both Spanish and English, these were great jobs for him. Jose loved communication with people, one of his favorite past times was going to the beach, not to get in the water but to enjoy the atmosphere and talk with friends. He was an enthusiast of the Costa Rican National Football league and never failed to wear his National League shirt when they played and would kiss the flag on the shirt when they scored a goal and celebrate when they won. In the last few years he worked as a mechanic and enjoyed spending time with his coworkers and telling jokes. Jose loved life.
He is survived by his mother Daisy Montero, sisters, Mary, Carmen, and Vicky. Sons Joshua and Moses along with grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
