Larry was born on March 13, 1943 in Parlier, California. He passed away on April 27, 2018 in Lancaster, California. Larry is survived by survived by his daughter, Shelly Sowers; 4 grandchildren Jenna Mallett and spouse Kyle, Matthew Sowers and spouse Alanna, Cara Sowers and namesake Larry Sowers; 3 great-grandchildren Shael Sowers, Shiah Sowers and Ethal Mallett; one sister, Janalea Miller; daughters-in-law Lilibeth Ong and Christine Sowers; many loved ones; friends, and especially his faithful dog Duke. Larry has been reunited in Heaven with his loving wife Bonnie, his son Steve and his parents, Arnie and Betty.
Larry was a resident of the Antelope Valley for 63 years, he graduated from AV High School. Larry retired from a job that he loved working as a fuel supervisor for 20 years at Northrop Grumman.
Larry was a wonderful husband, father and a spectacular grandfather. He will greatly missed by his family and all those who love him.
Services will be held May 19, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Desert Vineyard Church, 1011 E. Ave. I, Lancaster.
