Naomi Kathryn Jeffery

Naomi Kathyrn Jeffery, 75, of Lancaster, California, entered into God's kingdom on September 21, 2022. She was born April 24th, 1947 in Morgan City, Louisiana, to Thomas Noble Sr. and Katie Noble. Naomi was baptized at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in Morgan City, Louisiana, where she still enjoyed as an adult, to fellowship each time she visited home. After moving to California from Louisiana and graduating from John C. Fremont High School, Naomi went to work as a nurse assistant for several small Doctor offices, while studying to become an LVN at Southwest College. After graduating from Southwest College with an Associate’s degree, she pursued a career as an LVN, in which Naomi worked for Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, California for over 30 years. After retiring from Children’s hospital, she worked many years caring for special needs children. Naomi had two children, Stephon and Troy. She dedicated her life in bringing up two strong and intelligent sons. She excelled at motherhood and was the foundation of our family through and through. Naomi was an excellent gift giver, always knew the right thing to say, never missed a special date, and enjoyed preaching and teaching the word of Jesus Christ to anyone and/or everyone. While living in Los Angeles and Lancaster California, she loved to worship the Lord Jesus Christ and fellowship at St. Matthew Baptist Church. Naomi was very passionate about serving the lord, she felt her calling was to be of service and service she did. Where ever there was a need Naomi was there. When not in service she often traveling to see family and friends and enjoyed eating some home cooking in Louisiana, her favorite dish (catfish). Naomi had the personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation, and her laugh was infectious to everyone around her. A woman of many stories that would draw out inspiring conclusions. Truly a great woman whose impact will be forever felt by her family and friends, Naomi passing will leave an unfillable gap in the hearts of many loved ones. Naomi was preceded by her parents Thomas Noble Sr, and Katie Noble, her two brothers Thomas Noble Jr, and Hubert Noble, and her two sisters Mercedes Noble-Howard, and Florence Noble-Marshall. Naomi is survived by her former husband George Jeffery, her son Stephon and his wife Karen, her son Troy and his wife Tonjia, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
