Paul loved God first, then his family and country. He was fiercely loyal and filled with integrity. He was the type of man you wanted your son to be and your daughter to marry. He was the ultimate example for being "Christ like", he led by example with a heart full of compassion and mercy, just as the Lord does towards us. He was slow to anger and quick to love, patient, kind, loving man. He took great pride in his children, but also loved being a papa. Paul's quite strong spirit was so amazing to be around. He led our family with truth and love never putting him first, always creating a safe place for us to grow in ourselves and with our Lord.
He loved his country and it showed through his work and career in the Air Force. His hard work transpired into a lengthy career with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, where he accumulated a lot of awards and accommondations with several different programs. His coworkers reciprocated those feelings of admiration, by confiding in him and building a profound relationship on trust and respect.
Paul had many hobbies one of them was traveling across country, researching and tracking down grave sites of long lost relatives. He took great pride in putting together all the information found on these treks on his very own genealogy website, and blogs. He also love photography. He was never without his camera. He loved taking pictures of his family, after his famliy he loved taking picture of the sunrises/sunsets. He saw Gods beauty in all that was around him. Our home is cluttered with all his love. His greatest hobby was Elvis. He has a room full of everything Elvis! He did get to go the grace land and that was a shining moment for him. Paul was a fitness nut. He would run or bike everyday, even on vacation or while away at work. Paul appreciated all the Lord had blessed him with, in every aspect of his life and turned to his Lord for every situation, he was a man to look up to and he made you want to mold your life after the scripture; he was a true Godly man. His love shinned through him and his presence was powerful in a quite gentle way, if you met him you would never forget him... I came from God and now am returning to him, holding fast to his name and promises.
I have completed my race and now I am at peace.....
