"Phillip Schreier was born October 28, 1938 and passed away on October 23, 2025 at the age of 86. A long time resident of Quartz Hill and the Antelope Valley, Phil loved his family, his country, his dogs, and his model trains. His favorite train to run in his backyard was his GG1, a gift from his wife, though his layouts under the Christmas tree brought joy to friends and family. Phil loved his dogs including King, Rags, Marley, and Mia, the former two he is now reunited with. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sargent after more than 20 years of service. In his younger years, he enjoyed skiing and golf with his family. In his later years, he enjoyed traveling with his wife and working on his backyard garden railroad. He is survived by Janice, his wife of 61 years; his children, Cindy and Erik; and his grandchildren, Lydia and Shantae."
