Sharon Lee Holiday

October 6, 1945 – February 2, 2018

Sharon took her place among the angels on February 2, 2018. Born in Los Angeles, she was a life-long resident of Southern California.

Her true joy was her family. She was a loving wife of 48 years to husband Jerry, mother to Antony (Tony) and Jeremy (J), grandmother to Jeremy (JJ), daughter and first-born sister to Patricia (Patty), Pamela (Pam) and Sheriee (Ree). She gave her all to her husband and children, devoting her life to caring and providing for them at home and on the baseball field. She was known far and wide for her ballpark volunteerism and cheering on her sons and grandson from little league, through high school and collegiate sports.

Sharon was a gourmet cook and took great pleasure in presenting the most delectable dishes to nurture those she loved. She was a perfectionist in her craft from planning meals and shopping for ingredients to preparing, plating and presentation of the feasts she created. If you left her table unsatisfied, it was your own fault! She was often called upon by her sisters, nieces and nephews, and friends to share her recipes and give cooking lessons over the phone so others could try to emulate her tremendous culinary talent.

Sharon was strong-willed, steadfast in her convictions, protective of and fiercely loyal to her family, and humbly faithful to her God. She leaves a hole in the hearts of many left here to mourn our loss yet we take comfort in knowing her suffering has ended, she is with her loved ones who paved the way to Heaven before her, and celebrate her memory knowing we will someday be with her again.

Services will be held on Friday, February 16 at 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Joshua Memorial Park and Mortuary
