My name is Alton Scott, Violet Josephine Nugent  is my aunt that I never got the chance to know.   My dad, Edwin George Scott   died in Jamaica, many yearsago,  the first child for his father,  George Scott,  without ever knowing his siblings who were bred in Costa Rica..  I  pray that in the earth made new,  we who are alive,  along  with those who have parted will all meet around the throne.   May God Almighty  bless and comfort you family. 

My sincerest sympathy to Violet's family. I had not seen her for a number of years, but my memory of Violet is that of a sweet lady with a beautiful soul and smile to match. Now that she has gained her heavenly wings, I am sure that her smile is even brighter.

It’s so hard to find the words to explain how special you are to me. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Always remembering my birthday and holidays, conversations to share a laugh and end with an “I love you.” I called you Mom just like your kids because you were and will always be my second Mother, full of class and sass! I will miss you always. I love you Mom.

Love you, Tia. Thank you for picking me up from school, taking me to guitar lessons, and sharing so many great memories with me and the family. You were always there for my parents, my siblings and even some of my friends from the block. I am so grateful for the warmth and love you've shown me and will continue to hold it with me until we see each other again.

Roger my deepest condolences to you and your family, Violeta is going to be missed here in our neighborhood, it was a great pleasure to know her, my husband and I always enjoyed talking with her in the summertime, when she liked to sit out side her house to enjoy the summer breeze, but know she will be watching us from above, God bless her and your Family. Rest in peace Violeta. 

I am so glad God granted Violet a long full life. It's time to rest  her journey to the King is over. May God give her family peace in knowing she is resting in the arms of Jesus.

I have so many sweet memories of Violet especially when she allowed me to stay in her home 4 days a week during my promotional transfer to Lancaster.  We shared so many days of laughter especially while during my favorite thang (shopping)!

Greetings my friend.  You've been faithful and will b e making you ruler. Well done thou good and faithful servant, it's time to rest.

My sister Vy, has how my mom teached me to call my eldest sister, she was always a loving and kind sister.
I always go to spend my vacation with her since she lived in Seaside and then in Palmdale, she love riding me around, going shopping, going to the mall, movies, and going to have lunch.
I am going to miss her soo much whenever I visit Palmdale again.
May her soul rest in peace

My Tia Leta, you were like another Grandma to my brothers and I. I will never forget my nickname of “Whiny Pooh” you gave me for being a whiny kid😂. As I look back, I really was so I’ll give you that 😂. I will also never forget the countless rides home from school and McDonalds runs. You always reminding me how tall I am whenever I saw you. Also, watching soap operas with you as a kid although I had no idea what was going on 😂. As I reflect on the memories, I am so grateful for all the love you gave our family. You always said my mom was your favorite niece but I’d like to think I was a close second 😉. Your favorite story of us is how I could not pronounce your full name so I would call you “Tia Leta” instead of “Tia Violeta”. We will miss you. Rest In Peace my Tia Leta. I know you are reunited with the ones you’ve lost and watching all the game shows to your heart’s desire. Sending prayers and love to all of us who had the privilege to be surrounded by her love. 

My dearest friend, words cannot convey my appreciation and love for you. I thank God and Jeannie White for putting us together. There are so many memories that we have shared over the years to include our Christmases with Frank, our special Sunday dinners, our "dance contests", our trip  to Costa Rica & Atlanta, Georgia.  You were always  there  to console me, listen and advice me. You were a friend, sister and a surrogate Mother. I will love and miss you until the end of time. 

Abuelita, I love and miss you. I don’t know where to start….. we have so many memories together… all those times I came and spent the night at your house…. The thanksgiving dinners you hosted… though you aren’t here in the physical your spirit is still here….which I’m grateful for… you had the sweetest smile and I’ll always remember…love you… Rest Well…
