Born Sleeping
You came to us so quietly,
No cry, no breath—yet perfectly.
A tiny soul, a sacred spark,
Now resting safe in heaven’s heart.
Your heartbeat, once a melody,
Fell silent by God’s mystery.
No reason known, no fault, no blame—
Just love, just loss, just whispered name.
Though arms are empty, hearts are full,
Of dreams and love unbreakable.
And in our grief, we still believe—
God’s plan is greater than we see.
We honor you with every beat
Of hearts that broke, yet still repeat
Your name, your place, your gentle grace,
Forever cherished—none can replace.
The Lord gives and He takes away,
Yet in our sorrow, still we pray.
Our faith stands firm, though eyes still weep—
God holds you now, in perfect peace.
So rest, sweet Aeric, Lord God’s own,
You never walked, yet you are known.
And through it all, our hearts will stay
Faithful, strong, and filled with grace.
