

She was born on October 2, 1927, in New York, New York to Peter Vincent and Mary Theresa McQuillan. After graduating from Cathedral Girls Catholic High School in 1945, she began a career at AT&T (Ma Bell) on July 23, 1945, starting as a Page and eventually becoming an Assistant Engineer. She met her future husband Richard , a sailor in the Untied Sates Navy, and they married on May 8, 1954. After a number of duty stations, they settled in Las Vegas in 1962, where they raised their four children. Agnes was a wonderful and loving mother who was very involved in her children's activities. She was an active member of the PTA at JM Ullom, a gymnastic judge, and transported not only her children, but also neighbor kids to catechism, gymnastic events, baseball, football, wrestling practices and BMX races. In 1988, she graduated from Clark County Community College with an AA in General Studies with the Highest Honors. Agnes was a devote catholic who loved the Traditional Latin Mass and prayed the rosary daily.
Agnes is preceded in death by her husband Richard of 49 years, brother Bernard (died age 7), and her parents. She is survived by her brother Judge Peter James McQuillan, her four children: Mike (spouse Maria), Brian (spouse Jan), Mary and, Matt; nine grandchildren and five great-grand children.
Funeral Mass is set for Tuesday, September 11 at 2:00PM at at St. Joseph's Catholic Church located 131 North 9th Street (Ogden is cross street). Father Courtney Edward Krier presiding. Please note: The Traditional Latin Mass requires a respectful dress code. No jeans for men, women are asked to wear knee-length skirts and a cover for their head ( veils and mantillas are available for loan at church).
Burial will take place Wednesday, September 12 at 12:00PM at The Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Boulder City, NV 89005.
