Alice "Ree" Flaherty

ALICE FLAHERTY Alice “Ree” Flaherty, née Connors, 90, of Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2025. She was born Apr. 16, 1935, in Butte, Montana. She is survived by her husband, Ken, and their children, Mary, and Mike, daughter-in-law, Michele and their children, Reagan and Drew. And grandchildren Pierce and Mackenna.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Surviving relatives include her sister Betty (Connors) and Bob McCauley, and their children, Anne Marie, Maggie, Dan, and Kevin; and her sister Janet (Connors) and Dan Wheeler and their children, Alicia, Brian and Robert. Additional nieces and nephews include Margaret Anne Connors, John Connors, Paul Connors, Monica Connors, and Maria Connors; Mary Therese Clark, Patti Clark, Colleen Clark, Joanne Clark, and Peggy Clark and Karen Latka.

Alice was a graduate of Carroll College in Helena, Montana and had a caring career as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. During her training, she was transferred from Montana to her assignment in Los Angeles, California with fellow nurses, Trish (McMahon) Milewski, and Marilyn LaHood; there meeting Donna Alexander.

Alice and Ken raised their children, Mary, Andy, and Mike in Woodland Hills, California and retired in Sun City Summerlin, Nevada. Alice had so many dear friends and neighbors whom she loved. She was generous and caring to all. Her joy will be missed.

A visitation for Ree will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Cheyenne, 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129. A visitation will occur Friday, June 13, 2025 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89128. A funeral mass will occur Friday, June 13, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89128. A graveside committal service will occur Friday, June 13, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary & Cemetery, 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
