Ann Nancy Little

Seattle, WA on June 13, 1927, to Domenic and Nunziata Cappelletti and lived there until movingto Las Vegas in 1956 where she remained until her death.

At the age of 14, she started her career as a seamstress doing piece work in factories and at

Boeing. In 1955 she married Pete Little and assisted in running the family Pub. In 1956 the

family made the big move to Las Vegas as Pete was given the opportunity to operate the Keno

program at the brand new Fremont Hotel.

While in Las Vegas she had many job duties including, wardrobe mistress on the Las Vegas

Strip, head of a shipping department, engraver, and her favorite role as a librarian for St. Anne’s

Catholic School. She was very active in the community by organizing and monitoring the CYO bowling leagues at the Showboat Hotel for many years. She also held offices with the International Food Festival and Sons of Italy organizations.

She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother helping to raise them by teaching them

how to cook, sew, and cross-stitch. In retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family,

participating and teaching crafts at the local senior center, and winning awards in craft fairs.

In her final years, she resided at Wentworth assisted living and continued to enjoy an active

social life by becoming an ambassador for the facility, teaching classes, completing puzzles,

and helping with the organization of extracurricular activities.

The family would like to thank the Wentworth staff for caring for Ann in her final years, we

appreciate all the love and support you provided to her and her family. We would also like to

thank Pro-Care Hospice for their care and compassion in her final days.

She was preceded in death by her Husband - Pete Little; Mother and Father ; Brothers - Pete,

Ross, Bill, Nick, Lee, and Paul; Children - James Little; Sallie and James W Schaefer; and

Michael (Anna) Little; Granddaughters - Julie Little and Jeannie (Ray) Marino; Son-in-Law -

Michael Buckley.

She is survived by her Brother , John Cappelletti; Children - Debra (Pat) Somma, and Nancy

Buckley. Grandchildren - Jill (Doug) Ressler; Jim (LaRae) Schaefer; Jo-Ann Keesee; John

(Carol) Little; Jimmy Little; David (Amanda) Little; Leslie (Mahmood) Khichi; Tracey (James)

Arledge; Kevin Little; Sandy (Rick) Bailey; Tony Somma; Jonathan (Tara) VanPatten; and

Patrick Vanpatten. Great-grandchildren - Melissa (Kyle) Wood and Doug Ressler Jr; Emily

Schaefer; J.D. and Josh Little; Barbara Davenport and Sharon McKee; Morgan and Abby Little;

Aleena, Zain, Ameera, Shaan, and Omar Khichi; Michael, Connor, and Lauren Arledge; Kerrie

and Karen Bailey; Ryan, Jacob, and Jimmy Little; Michael, Kevin, and Thomas King and
