Ann Minoia

Ann Minoia, née Lagurda, age 92, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Minoia, retired United States Air Force. Loving mother of Andrea (Patrick) Noone, Therese "Cookie" (Bill) Masi, and the late Tony (Janice) Flando. Cherished grandmother of Jonathan (Gerda) Cawley, Frank (Rochelle) Canonico, Lisa (Marc) Henderson, Tony Canonico, Tony Jr. (Caitlin) Flando, and Andrew (Lindy) Canonico. Treasured great-grandmother of Gabriella, Grace, Emilia, Anthony, and Brody.

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Ann dedicated her life to her family and her community. She proudly served as a bailiff for the Cook County Sheriff’s Office for 20 years. She later relocated to Las Vegas, where she spent the last 36 years of her life surrounded by family and friends, living with grace, strength, and a deep love for those around her.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89146. Committal Service will begin at 10:40 a.m. at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Mem., Boulder City, NV 89005.
