AVIS DE DÉCÈS

Arnold Michael Ciancaglini

10 juin 1945 – 20 novembre 2025
Avis de décès de Arnold Michael Ciancaglini
AUX SOINS DE

Palm Cheyenne Mortuary

Arnold Michael Ciancaglini, 80, passed away peacefully at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 20, 2025.

Born in the Bronx, New York on June 10, 1945, Arnold was the beloved son of Arnold and Marie Ciancaglini. He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Linda Ciancaglini; his stepson, Christopher Gramazio, and daughter-in-law, Stacy Gramazio; and his cherished grandchildren, Christopher and William Gramazio. He also leaves behind his sister, Rosemarie Milano; nephews, Mark and Steven Milano; and a large, loving extended family.

Arnold attended Saint Adalbert's Parochial School and graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School. He briefly attended Iona University but eventually found himself toughing it out on the assembly line for General Motors in Tarrytown, NY.

Arnold quickly ascended the ranks at General Motors, where he would work for 32 years, eventually achieving the status of General Supervisor and Future Projects Manager. This position would see Arnold travel around the U.S., as well as to Italy, to work in conjunction with Ferrari on the development of new, groundbreaking automobiles. "Chick," as he was often referred to on the job, was a beloved individual among his colleagues, developing many lifelong friendships that have served as an enduring symbol of Arnold's character, compassion, and trustworthiness.

Arnold's most lasting legacy, though, would be his marriage to his loving and devoted wife, Linda, for 48 years. Linda and Arnie shared a special bond that transcends our modern times—a bond built on mutual respect and admiration for each other, two parts coming together to form one perfect union. They first caught each other's eye in the Bronx, NY, in the late '60s but would eventually reconnect in the early '70s and begin a courtship that would define both their lives. Marrying in 1977, they began what might today be called an old-school romance. They quickly found themselves relocating together to Poughkeepsie, NY, where they spent 18+ years building a beautiful life together in the picturesque Hudson Valley.

The Hudson Valley became the perfect background for Arnold, as he was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed everything the area brought his way. Arnold, when not working, could often be found tending to his large backyard garden, chopping wood, or enjoying some relaxing time in his pool. In the winter, Arnold could always be found generously offering his services to plow friends' and neighbors' driveways. Arnold was also an avid hunter and spent many wonderful outings with friends searching for that prized buck. When not enjoying time beautifying his home and surroundings, Arnold and Linda looked to travel the world . . . and travel the world they did. They visited dozens of destinations around the globe, but they most loved their island getaways where sun and fun awaited. A nice beach, a cool breeze, and a perfect island beverage were always the preferred outcome. Eventually, Arnold and Linda would find themselves relocating to one of their favorite states, Nevada—at first taking up residence in Reno, working their way through Pahrump, and eventually planting his final roots in Las Vegas, where Arnold enjoyed all the area had to offer.

Las Vegas represented a new chapter for Arnold, and he embraced it fully. Always a hardworking and dutiful individual, Arnold did things the right way—whether it was taking care of his home, being a member of the community, or looking after his family. A strong yet quiet man, Arnold stood as a testament to all one could achieve through hard work, proper planning, and determination.

Arnold leaves behind a family that will greatly miss him and cherish his memory. He leaves a hole that cannot be filled and a legacy that cannot be forgotten. He was what we should all aspire to be—a Good Man.
