Belinda was born in Pampanga Philippines to Gertrudes Pangalinan and M. Santiago. She lived a life defined by strength, generosity, and quiet determination. Practical and humble in nature, she was deeply respected by those who knew her both personally and professionally.
As one of the few female Certified Public Accountants in the Philippines, she helped pave the way for future generations of women in her field with courage, intelligence, and perseverance.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, she found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved cooking meals for family, tending to her garden with care, and surrounding herself with the companionship of beloved pets. Her generosity was often shown not through grand gestures, but through everyday acts of service, thoughtfulness, and unwavering support for the people she loved.
She is survived by her husband Romulo Malimban; son John Paul Malimban (Abigail Malimban); daughter Mariel Ann Malimban (John Taing); and granddaughter Malana Taing who will forever cherish her wisdom, strength, and love. Her granddog, Toodee, will miss her dearly.
Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured, the paths she helped create for women in her profession, and the countless lives she touched through her kindness and resilience.
Fond memories and heartfelt condolences may be left for the Malimban family at www.palmnorthwest.com.
