She was born on August 14, 1949, in Dimasalang, Masbate, Philippines to her beloved parents Gun Lim and Dolores Cleofe. She grew up with 11 other siblings and was known for her signature dimples.
After graduating from Southern Islands Hospital School of Nursing, she was the first in her family to travel to the United States where she worked as a nurse. She also worked in Iran and the Philippines, before eventually settling in Las Vegas where she was a nurse at University Medical Center for 20 years.
She thoroughly enjoyed her retirement and continued her passion for traveling to near and far places, baking desserts, and taking classes on any subject.
Throughout every stage in her life, she easily formed lasting connections with those she encountered. When she got sick, there was an incredible outpouring of support from family, friends, and even acquaintances, demonstrating just how well-loved Belinda is.
Her life’s greatest pride and joy were her two daughters and her granddaughter, all three of whom she always took the most thoughtful care of.
Belinda is preceded in death by her husband, Rodolfo; and survived by her daughters, Charisse and Rycel; and her granddaughter, Blair.
