Betty Fowler, 78, of Las Vegas, passed away March 25, 2013. She was born April 17, 1934, in Elliott City, Md., and was a 50-year resident of Las Vegas. She retired from the Desert Inn Hotel after over 30 years of service as a PBX operator. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was loved dearly and will be missed very much. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon. She is survived by her husband, Kent Fowler; three brothers; two sisters; four children and spouses, Ann and Hank Peluaga, Linda and Jim Hayes, Ron and Theresa Fowler, and Craig and Ramona Fowler of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Services for Betty will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, at Palm Mortuary-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Reception will follow.
