

Brenda was a wife, mother and devoted grandmother. Brenda’s love for her family and zest for life will be remembered long after her passing.
Brenda Edelblute of Las Vegas, Nevada peacefully passed away at the age of 50 years old on August 22, 2021 in Las Vegas Nevada, at home surrounded by her family. Brenda courageously battled cancer for 10 years and her family will strive to honor her memory by living their lives to the fullest.
Brenda went to Bonanza High School and after graduation she was accepted into the Local 88 five year Sheet Metal Apprenticeship program. She graduated the apprenticeship and “turned out” as a sheet metal journeyman. Brenda enjoyed working with her union brothers and sisters both in the shop and on many Las Vegas Strip projects including McCarran Airport Terminal 3.
Brenda enjoyed life whether it was traveling or spending time with her family, friends and especially being a doting grandmother, a title that she wore loudly and proudly.
Brenda is survived by her husband Scott Edelblute, her daughters: LeeAnn Higa (Marco), Mercedes Inga - Monrroy (Inez), step-son Matt Edelblute (Melissa). Her grandchildren: Emma, Serenity, Lilly, Daniel, Johnny, Shannon and Marlee. Her mother Valinda Lucas and her siblings: Margit Kostelnick, Debbie Wolsey, and Charles Lucas.
